SIFF Volunteering

Bulletin Board

We have established a separate merchandise position at Broadway Performance Hall for every day of the festival. Because of the importance and responsibilities of this position, merchandise ushers will receive three vouchers per hour instead of the customary one. This person is, in essence, a super usher whose sole responsibility will be to sell SIFF merchandise (t-shirts, program guides, etc) and also sell day-of-show tickets. We need one person per usher shift at BPH to fill this position.

Next week, we will have available a comprehensive list of drink and food specials for you to enjoy as a SIFF volunteer. Showing a voucher at these establishments will get you either happy hour prices all night on a particular night, or food discounts. Stay tuned. Thanks to Mexico Cantina, Kincora, The Viceroy, The Rendezvous and The Vogue for being the first to step up to the plate.

Those of you who have an interest or experience with public relations, marketing and/or promotions: the SIFF Corporate Relations Department needs your help administering surveys starting next week, to canvass our moviegoers about their opinions of the festivals. We need help canvassing 20 screenings throughout May and June. If interested, respond to volunteers@seattlefilm.com. Many thanks.
